Support For When Life Feels Like a Lot
Whether you’re managing stress, navigating change, or facing ongoing challenges, Suzette provides a warm, evidence-based space to help you reflect, regain balance, and take confident steps forward.
Life can throw many challenges at us. We all go through periods of stress, sadness, grief, or conflict – whether from relationships, work, health, loss, or our own inner struggles. These experiences are part of being human, and they don’t have to be faced alone.
They can also be an opportunity to reflect, explore your inner world, and develop effective ways to move forward with greater purpose and meaning.
A psychologist is skilled in walking alongside you on this journey.
Suzette supports people through a wide range of challenges, including emotional, relational, and life transitions. Her areas of interest include:
- Anxiety, with a particular focus on generalised and social anxiety
- Low mood and self-esteem
- Eating and body image concerns
- People-pleasing, perfectionism, and procrastination
- Life transitions such as entering or ending relationships, career changes, becoming a parent, coping with loss, moving home or countries, and adjusting to injury, health changes or life stages, including menopause
- Relationship issues and interpersonal difficulties
- Emotional regulation, stress management, and support during periods of loss

Therapy Interests and Style
Suzette uses a range of psychological techniques to fit each client’s needs and support them in reflecting on their experiences and discovering new ways to live more fully.
She has completed research in the area of attachment theory, which explores how early life experiences can shape the way we view ourselves, relate to others, and respond to stressors in life. Her work emphasises the uniqueness of each person, how their past and experiences can influence their thoughts, feelings, and actions, despite not always being within their conscious awareness. She has a flexible approach to practice, and depending on her client’s needs and preferences, integrates a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), interpersonal, systemic, and mindfulness-based approaches.
