Project Description
PREGNANCY
Did you know that around 50% of women will experience low back pain or pelvic girdle pain during or after pregnancy?
This can be caused by a variety of factors during pregnancy including weight gain, postural changes, weakened stabilising muscles and hormonal influences. After pregnancy, there are many demands of looking after your baby which can be a significant factor too.
DO YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING?
- Low back pain, which can radiate into the buttocks, back of your leg, hip or groin regions?
- Pain is often worsened with walking, getting in and out of a chair or car, rolling over in bed, dressing and managing stairs?
If so, the staff at Sandringham Sports Physio can assist.
